In Their Own Story
Yura Urushibara's *Tougen Anki* begins when Shiki Ichinose's adoptive father, Tsuyoshi, is killed by an assassin. Shiki learns he is an Oni and that Tsuyoshi was a Momotarou who abandoned his duty to raise him. Shiki enters Rasetsu Academy, where students like Jin Kougasaki (whose father killed his mother and sister) and Homare Byobugaura (abused by her parents) train. The Momotarou, led by figures like Samidare Momoya and Tsubakiri Momomiya, hunt Oni.
